Synetic Theater’s haunting and wordless adaptation of Shakespeare’s iconic masterpiece, first performed in 2002, returns for a limited engagement, laying bare the tormented soul at the heart of one of literature’s greatest achievements. Vato Tsikurishvili steps into the role of Hamlet as the great story unfolds once more, promising a visceral and unforgettable theatrical experience.

Synetic premieres The Immigrant, a new project from Paata and Irina Tsikurishvili based on the classic 1918 silent comedy. It is a simple, comedic story about the arrival of a new immigrant in turn of the 20th-century New York, with all the trials, adventure, mishaps, and high hopes of the American immigrant journey. As a theater founded, led, and populated by immigrant artists, Synetic considers this the perfect time and opportunity to adapt, expand, and develop its own version of story, bringing its adept physical comedy, innovative style, and great heart to the legacy of this cinema classic.

Fairies, a fantastical forest, star-crossed lovers, and an actor transformed into a donkey… Synetic’s mischievously magical and movement-driven extravaganza returns, just in time for (mid)summer. First performed in 2009, this staple in Synetic’s wordless Shakespeeare repertoire overflows with enchantment and romance, and is a perfect theatrical treat for the whole family.
